MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Miami Township will hold its annual Holiday Parade on Thursday, Nov. 19, with marching bands, lighted floats and township fire, police, service and recreation vehicles rolling along Business 28, according to a township Facebook post.
The parade route starts at Miami Plaza, near Mosaic Church, and continues along Business 28 to the Meijer store, the township said. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and find a spot along the route for the evening event, which the township described as full of holiday lights, music and community spirit.

Businesses, churches, school groups and other organizations that want to enter a float or unit in the parade must register by Friday, Nov. 6, the township said. The entry fee is $25. Those interested in participating can contact Cassidy Craig at [email protected] or call the township at 513-248-3727.
High school marching bands and local businesses are also expected to take part, along with township departments including fire and EMS, police, and service and recreation, the post said.
Miami Township, in the northwestern corner of Clermont County along the Hamilton County line, is governed by a three-member board of trustees and provides police, fire and EMS, parks and recreation, and community development services to about 44,000 residents, according to U.S. Census figures. The township’s administrative offices are located on Meijer Drive, near the parade route.
