JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Residents along Jackson Pike and Clemons Road and Clemons Lane will be placed under a boil-water advisory after crews begin preconstruction work on a water line serving that part of Jackson Township on Wednesday, the township said in a Facebook post.
A one-call utility locate request, required before any excavation begins, will go out shortly for the affected service area, according to the post. Crews are scheduled to begin work Wednesday, Oct. 28, along Jackson Pike and Clemons Road and Lane, and the township released a map of the work zone.

The map shows the work zone running along Jackson Pike between Sharps Cutoff Road and Shelton Road, with a second leg covering Clemons Road and Clemons Lane near state Route 133.
Once service is restored, customers in the affected area will be placed under a boil-water advisory, a standard precaution any time a water line is opened that requires flushing and testing before the system is confirmed free of contamination.
Jackson Township covers about 31 square miles in northeastern Clermont County and had 3,089 residents as of the 2020 census, according to Census Bureau data.
