BATAVIA, Ohio — Crews will pave White Oak Road in Pierce Township on Thursday and apply a pavement preservation treatment to Price Road in Miami Township on Friday, according to the Clermont County Engineer’s Office.
The tentative schedule, posted by the engineer’s office on Facebook, calls for paving to begin Thursday, Oct. 29, on White Oak Road. The White Oak Road work had previously been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, as part of the same resurfacing push, but was pushed back two days. On Friday, Oct. 30, crews are set to apply Reclamite, an asphalt rejuvenating treatment, to Price Road. Dates and locations are subject to change because of weather or other unforeseen conditions, the office said.

Reclamite is a maltene-based rejuvenator that penetrates the top layer of asphalt to restore oils lost to weather and ultraviolet exposure, a treatment manufacturers say can extend pavement life by several years at a fraction of the cost of repaving.
Both roads are part of the county’s 2026 Road Resurfacing Program, a collaborative initiative in which townships combine projects with the county’s annual resurfacing effort to secure lower unit pricing, according to the engineer’s office. The program has included dozens of township and county roads across Clermont County this year, with work expected to continue into the fall.
Jeremy Evans serves as Clermont County Engineer, an elected office responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of the county’s roads and bridges.
