BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Filager Road will close to through traffic for four days later this month so a contractor can complete a sanitary sewer connection, the Clermont County Engineer’s Office said in a Facebook post.
The closure will run from Nov. 17 through Nov. 20, covering a stretch of Filager Road about 330 feet southwest of East Filager Road, according to the engineer’s office. The office said the work consists of tying the road into the sanitary sewer system.

A posted detour will route traffic around the work zone, looping south to Ohio 222 on the west end of the closure and connecting to Ohio 132 on the east end before rejoining Filager Road, according to a map the engineer’s office released with the announcement.
The Clermont County Engineer’s Office, based in Batavia, oversees road and bridge construction, maintenance and surveying for the county’s roadway system outside incorporated villages and cities. The office has posted a steady stream of closure notices this fall as crews complete sewer tie-ins and utility work across the county ahead of winter.
The engineer’s office asked drivers to plan ahead and follow posted detour signs while the closure is in effect.
