GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Goshen Township’s Zoning Commission will consider a request Oct. 6 to rezone a self-storage property on state Route 28 so the business can expand beyond its current footprint, according to the township.
The application, filed as case ZC-2026-008, covers a parcel at 1642 State Route 28. The applicant wants to expand the existing self-storage facility there, the township said in a notice announcing the hearing.
Because the expansion would enlarge a pre-existing, nonconforming use under the township’s current zoning map, the property would first need to be rezoned into a district that permits self-storage operations, in accordance with the Goshen Township Zoning Resolution, according to the township.
Public records identify the business at that address as Goshen Storage, a facility that advertises drive-up units and 24-hour access.
The Zoning Commission meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 6, and the township said the public is invited to attend and comment on the request. Questions can be directed to the Goshen Township Planning and Zoning Department at 513-722-3400.
The Zoning Commission works alongside the township’s Board of Zoning Appeals, the Board of Trustees and Clermont County’s planning and building offices on zoning matters, according to the township. Commission members are appointed by the Board of Trustees to staggered five-year terms, with one seat up for reappointment each year. Goshen Township’s trustees are Bob Hausermann, Dan Hodges and Lisa Allen.
