GOSHEN, Ohio — Goshen Local Schools received a $1,150 donation this quarter from Loveland Express and Biermarkt, a fuel station and taproom on Ohio 28 that gives the district a penny for every gallon of gasoline it sells, the district said in a Facebook post.

The payment is the latest installment in an ongoing arrangement between the business and the district, which the district said is made quarterly. Based on the penny-per-gallon rate, this quarter’s donation reflects roughly 115,000 gallons of gasoline sold at the store.

Loveland Express and Biermarkt operates at 1617 Ohio 28, combining a convenience store and fuel station with a BIERmarkt taproom, bar and grill under one roof, according to the business.
