FELICITY, Ohio — Felicity-Franklin Jr./Sr. High School was without power Monday afternoon, with the district saying in a Facebook post that it hoped to have electricity restored within the hour.
While repairs continued, hot lunch was being prepared in the elementary school’s cafeteria and served to high school students, according to the district.
Phone service also remained down on the Jr./Sr. High School side of the building, the district said. Families needing to reach the high school office were asked to call the elementary office instead so staff could relay messages.
The Jr./Sr. High School, at 105 Market St. in Felicity, is the only high school in the Felicity-Franklin Local School District, which serves roughly 640 students across three buildings in Clermont County and is led by Superintendent Robert Walker. Students returned for the 2026-27 school year Aug. 20, according to the district.
District officials thanked families for their patience as staff worked through the outage, according to the post.
