FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A stretch of Goodwin Schoolhouse-Point Isabel Road will remain closed through Aug. 21 as crews continue replacing two bridges, the Clermont County Engineer’s Office said.

The county engineer’s office highlighted the project as its featured work for the week of Aug. 3-7 in a construction update posted to Facebook. Bridge crews are replacing Bridge No. C56-0.72 and Bridge No. C56-0.85 along the road, according to the office.

The work is intended to improve the structural integrity and long-term reliability of the roadway, the office said. The project includes removing the existing bridge structures and building new ones, along with any necessary approach roadway, drainage and related improvements to maintain safe and efficient travel through the area once complete.
