MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Restrooms at Miami Township parks have switched to shorter hours for the winter season, the township said.
From Nov. 1 through Feb. 28, restrooms will open daily at 6 a.m. and close at 4 p.m., according to the township. The hours will return to their regular schedule, closing at 9 p.m. daily, beginning March 1.
The township’s parks department maintains five parks across roughly 300 acres, including Community Park on Buckwheat Road, Paxton Ramsey Park on Price Road, Miami Meadows Park on state Route 131, Miami Riverview Park on Branch Hill-Loveland Road and Longfield Acres.
The township asked residents for their understanding as the seasonal schedule takes effect.
