PIERCE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 14-year-old boy reported missing early Monday after his vehicle was found crashed into a guardrail has been located safe, the Pierce Township Police Department said.
Carter Busch left his Pierce Township residence around 1:35 a.m. Monday, according to police. His vehicle was found crashed into a guardrail on Old State Route 52 near State Route 749 at 2:14 a.m., with no one in or around it. It was not immediately known whether Busch had been injured in the crash.
Police described Busch as a white male about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Investigators asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Det. Chesney at the police department or the Clermont County Communications Center’s non-emergency line.
Officers located Busch a short time later, the department said in a follow-up post, adding that he is fine. Police thanked the community for its concern and assistance during the search.
