BATAVIA, Ohio — Clermont County property owners have until Friday, Aug. 7, to pay their second-half 2025 real estate tax bills, which were mailed later than usual this year because of a new state tax-relief law, the county treasurer’s office said.

The Aug. 7 deadline applies to this collection cycle only, according to the treasurer’s office. The bills were delayed to give the county time to apply a new “Inflation Cap Credit” created under Ohio House Bill 186.

The credit may provide property tax relief to qualifying property owners and will appear as a separate line item on eligible second-half tax bills, according to the county.
