WILLIAMSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Representatives from the Clermont County Emergency Management Agency will spend the next several days going door to door across Williamsburg Township to assess storm damage to homes and apartments, the township said in a Facebook post.

Residents may see EMA representatives visiting properties, speaking with homeowners about damage and photographing damaged residential structures, according to the post. Teams could be accompanied by a Clermont County sheriff’s deputy or a township staff member, and all representatives will carry identification, the township said.

The assessments will allow Clermont County to compile storm damage information and submit it to the state of Ohio, which will evaluate the county for potential disaster assistance, funding and additional response and recovery resources, according to the post.
